Beacon of Hope Youth Foundation is a beacon of light for foster, homeless, and at-risk youth aged 16–24. We are dedicated to providing advocacy, education, and support to help these young individuals transition into adulthood successfully.
Through financial literacy, mentorship, coaching, and life skills training, we equip them with the tools needed for lasting self-sufficiency and career readiness. Our mission is to empower youth by instilling a sense of belonging, understanding, financial independence, and life skills necessary to thrive in the modern world.

Meet OUR DIRECTOR

Tiara Howlett, a passionate community health worker with over 15 years of experience in reentry, homelessness, domestic violence, youth advocacy and community engagement. Tiara, is a testament to the power of perseverance, resourcefulness, and hope. A justice impacted mother and woman, Tiara not only faced the challenges of reentering society head-on, but she also used the talent, skills and resources to transform her life. Today, she has achieved personal success as a business owner, author and first generation homeowner who is actively building generational wealth for her family which is living proof that reentry is not only possible but can lead to a future of prosperity.
Tiara’s journey is the foundation of Beacon of Hope Youth Foundation a 501c3 organization dedicated to helping young people with skills development training, mentorship and advocacy. Her real-life experience navigating the obstacles of reintegration employment, financial literacy, building support systems, and personal development provides a unique and authentic perspective.
Beacon of Hope Youth Foundation programs and curriculum is designed to empower individuals by offering practical strategies and insights that will help participants build strong, sustainable futures for themselves and their families.
