Tiara Howlett, a passionate community health worker with over 15 years of experience in reentry, homelessness, domestic violence, youth advocacy and community engagement. Tiara, is a testament to the power of perseverance, resourcefulness, and hope. A justice impacted mother and woman, Tiara not only faced the challenges of reentering society head-on, but she also used the talent, skills and resources to transform her life. Today, she has achieved personal success as a business owner, author and first generation homeowner who is actively building generational wealth for her family which is living proof that reentry is not only possible but can lead to a future of prosperity.
Tiara’s journey is the foundation of Beacon of Hope Youth Foundation a 501c3 organization dedicated to helping young people with skills development training, mentorship and advocacy. Her real-life experience navigating the obstacles of reintegration employment, financial literacy, building support systems, and personal development provides a unique and authentic perspective.
